Our mission is deeply rooted in our commitment to serving underserved and disenfranchised individuals and families, including historically underserved youth, returning citizens, seniors, individuals with disabilities, economically disadvantaged persons, and other marginalized populations, without regard to their ability to pay. As a faith-based nonprofit, Two Fish and Five Loaves Community Cafe is driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to holistic wellness resources, regardless of their circumstances.
Our Vision
Empowering Lives
Our vision is to create a community where everyone has the opportunity to live their best lives, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our current focus is the development of the 2Fish Community Cafe at the Charles A. Melton Arts & Education Center, which will serve as a platform for our holistic services targeting low-income individuals in West Chester and Coatesville. Through the cafe and our various programs, we aim to provide a safe and welcoming space where individuals can access the support and resources they need to thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Responding to Crisis
The Birth of a Holistic Wellness Project
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we reimagined our efforts and launched the 2Fish Holistic Wellness Project in 2020. This groundbreaking initiative aims to provide holistic and equity-based services to underserved individuals and families, with a focus on four key categories: assistance to unemployed or underemployed workers, academic, social, and emotional services for youth, childcare, and household assistance through food programs.
Creating Community
Establishing the Holistic Wellness Hub
In 2022, the 2Fish Holistic Wellness Project received funding to establish a Holistic Wellness Hub located at the Charles A. Melton Arts & Education Center. This hub serves as a model for community healing and offers a wide range of low-cost and no-cost services tailored to meet the needs of marginalized populations. Through collaboration with other nonprofits, local businesses, public officials, and community members, we are working together to create positive change and empower individuals and families to thrive.
